Harnessing AI at the I-School: Two Experiments in First-Year STEM Courses
Identifying distinct best practices adopted in foundational courses offered by the HKU School of Innovation (I-School). The first practices observed is employing AI to produce computer codes to solve various problems as efficiently as possible. The second is to develop student’s research and reflection skills using weekly “foundational inquiry” assessments through facilitated use of AI chatbots.
