Use Case
Teaching Legal Writing in the Age of AI
Using GenAI to teach legal writing to law students not only help students to utilize the technology to comprehend and summarise dense and intricate legal texts, while also familiarizing them with the structure of legal opinions, citation formats, court-level information, and enabling them to draw inferences about procedural history. The lessons featured (1) a QT case brief, (2) a mapping exercise on the minimum wage ordinance, and (3) GenAI as a source of legal document templates.
