Abstract

Explore practical ways to use HKU GenAI Service to support students diverse learning needs in writing, conceptual understanding, and reading comprehension. This hands-on workshop introduces three practical activities: flip-card generation for structured writing support, concept map generation for organising ideas and building conceptual understanding, and multi-step reading comprehension support through text chunking, listening, summarising.

About the Speaker

Dr. Carson Hung is a Lecturer / E-learning Technologist at TALIC, specialising in leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AR/VR, Al, and games to enhance student engagement. With extensive experience in EdTech projects, he is passionate about using innovative solutions to enhance students’ learning experience.
