Abstract
Student feedback is widely recognised as an important mechanism for enhancing teaching and learning. However, many changes arising from student feedback are implemented only for future cohorts, limiting opportunities for current students to experience the impact of their contributions. During a Teaching Exchange Fellowship visit to the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Dr. Enoch Chan explored the UNSW Student Ambassador Programme and its approach to student partnership in educational enhancement.
In this seminar, Dr. Chan will share insights into how student voice can be translated into timely, visible, and meaningful improvements to the learning experience. Drawing on examples from UNSW, he will discuss strategies for engaging students as partners, establishing responsive feedback mechanisms, and fostering a culture in which students can see tangible outcomes from their feedback while they are still taking a course.
