Use Case
Use of AI for Grading and Feedback in an Assessment for Learning, Flipped Class Pedagogy
Vox-LM, an AI tool for grading short-answer questions (SAQs) and creating class performance summaries for teachers, helps overcome the limitations of traditional educator-based grading. Vox-LM grades student work based on rubrics, model answers, and exemplars provided by teachers, based on the Qwen-3 vision-language instruction tuned model. The tool improves teachers marking workflows by outputting student marks, highlighted summaries showing correct, incorrect and uncertain phrases in student responses and many other useful metrics to give teachers and students a picture of their whole-class learning performance.
