Call for Abstracts

We invite all HKU teachers who are eager to share their teaching practices designed to engage students in generic competencies development (e.g. collaborative skills, critical thinking, empathy, etc.) to submit an abstract, which can be for a workshop, seminar or poster presentation. Submissions are not limited to Teaching Development Grant (TDG) project initiatives. We welcome ANY teaching and learning related projects in the areas of e-learning, assessment and feedback, curriculum design and development.

Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your educational innovations, exchange ideas with colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning practices at HKU. Regardless of your chosen presentation format, you just need to submit a presentation title along with an abstract (maximum 400 words) for submission, which opens on 1st July 2025! If you would like to do a seminar or workshop, when submitting your abstract, please indicate your preferred time slot—morning (AM) or afternoon (PM)—for your presentation. While we cannot guarantee specific timings, we will do our best to accommodate your preference.

During the poster showcases, you will be given 1 minute to give a pitch, and then there will be time for the audience to interact with each individual presenter.
