9th HKU Teaching and Learning Festival 2026

Celebrating Good Teaching and Learning Practices at HKU

Contents

Overview

The Teaching and Learning Festival has always been a signature event organized by the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) to celebrate innovative and effective teaching practices that support student learning at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). As we continue to highlight and advance excellence in teaching, “Celebrating Good Teaching and Learning Practices at HKU” will become the overarching theme for all Teaching and Learning Festivals.

The 9th Teaching and Learning Festival will take place in May 2026. It aims to provide a platform for educators to share and exchange teaching practices, brainstorm new ideas, connect with colleagues, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

We invite all HKU teachers to contribute to the 9th Teaching and Learning Festival. Submissions are not limited to Teaching Development Grant (TDG) project initiatives. We welcome ANY teaching and learning related projects in the areas of e-learning, assessment and feedback, curriculum design and development.
