There are two routes to apply for fellowship. Route 1 is via direct application to the Advance HE at £220 (HKU is a subscribing institution). Route 2 is through an Advance HE accredited institutional programme, e.g. HKU Advance HE Fellowship Scheme, at NO cost.
Referees will be expected to have current or recent experience of working in Higher Education. Your referees should have worked closely with you and be familiar with your recent practice in higher education.

After completing your submission online, you will receive an acknowledgement email from us, please check the mailbox you have provided during registration.
No, your application will be considered by the review panel merely based on your application and supporting statements. The processing time is approximately 8 weeks. When the application has been to panel, you will be contacted via email regarding the outcome and, if successful, how to download your fellowship certificate.
If your application is “Revise and resubmit”, you will receive feedback on what needs to be addressed and will have two weeks to resubmit. You can continue to work with your mentor. Once resubmitted, the application will go back to the two original reviewers for a final outcome of approved or not approved. If a re-submission is not approved, the applicant need to re-register on the scheme.
