Welcome to the Students as Partners (SaP) @ HKU resources. Also known as a Student-Staff partnership, SaP generally refers to a pedagogical strategy to engage students and academic/professional staff working as active collaborators to improve teaching and learning experiences (Mercer-Mapstone et al., 2017). Though SaP is often positioned as an approach to enhancing student engagement in learning, teachers also get inspired through the process of redefining their traditional teaching roles and developing partnerships with students. SaP engagement is believed to be an effective way for teaching innovation and development.
