GenAI Community of Practice

To support teacher professional development, TALIC has established a Generative Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice (GenAI CoP) to encourage knowledge exchange and network building among HKU colleagues. Through regular meetings, sharing sessions, workshops and a teaching conference, the CoP provides a platform for members to share innovative GenAI-related pedagogical strategies, to explore AI-proof assessment designs, to seek solutions to tackle challenges, and to develop AI literacy. Our CoP members are comprised of academics from 10 faculties, TALIC, and University Libraries. By leveraging their collective expertise, we aim to enhance colleagues’ capability to adopt cutting-edge AI tools to enrich students’ learning experiences.

Programme Leaders Community of Practice

This Community of Practice (CoP) is a platform for Programme Directors or Programme Leaders/Coordinators to share good practice and seek support and guidance from colleagues. Any member of staff in this role can join at any time, but normally they would have attended the workshop Professional Development for programme Leaders, which is run once every semester.
