HKU AI Clinic - Sandbox and Consultation
The HKU AI Clinic is an initiative dedicated to introducing HKU students and teachers to a diverse range of GenAI software tools. This clinic is specifically designed to address technical needs and ensure that HKU students and teachers are well-equipped to harness the power of AI in academic pursuits.
Since its launch in the summer of 2023, the AI Clinic has held a number of sessions, including tailor-made Faculty AI Clinics. During these sessions, HKU students and teachers received personalized support in various aspects of GenAI software, such as downloading apps and exploring applications in image, text, slide, and video processing.

This opportunity is open to both teachers and students who wish to drop by during the clinic hours.
During these sessions, you can receive one-on-one support with a variety of text-based and multimodal Generative AI applications for teaching, learning, and assessment. You are encouraged to bring your laptop so that we can demonstrate tools directly on your device. We have also assembled a list of subject-specific AI tools for demonstration, and you may discuss any GenAI-related challenges you face in your teaching or studies. These drop-in clinics are open to both faculty and students during the posted clinic hours, and no prior registration is required.
