The theme of ETTE Symposium 2022 is sharing insights and lessons learnt from online/hybrid learning and teaching in the pandemic years. In the morning, conducted in hybrid mode (in lecture theatre TU201 or online via Zoom), we have a Vice Presidents’ Panel Discussion by Professor Maryanne Dever of Australian National University, Professor Ian Holliday of the University of Hong Kong, Dr Erle Lim of National University of Singapore, and Professor Susan McCahan of the University of Toronto; and a Student Session produced and hosted by a group of PolyU undergraduate students in different years of study from different departments.
In the fully online parallel sessions in the afternoon, we are pleased to have speakers from local UGC-funded universities, including UGC Teaching Award recipients of 2020 and 2021; teachers nominated by PolyU Faculties and Schools; and leaders of inter-institutional projects led by PolyU. We are also honoured to have Mr Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, as our Keynote Speaker.
